The following information is for your reference:
A Malaysian company must have at least one director and one shareholder. These positions can be held by the same person. If there is only one director, he or she must be a local resident, i.e. a Malaysian citizen, permanent resident, or a foreign passport holder with a local residential address. If a Malaysian company has only foreign shareholders, it must have at least one local resident as a director. The local director does not need to be a shareholder.
